A Little Bit About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Lori Theodore and I hope you find something on this site that will make nursing school a little easier for you. I am an adjunct nursing professor at a college near Orlando, Florida. I have taught nursing in both LPN and RN programs and will complete MSN in nursing education through Drexel University this year. I graduated with my ADN from Valencia Community College and completed my BSN through Kaplan University. My background in nursing is primarily progressive care, although I have worked in corrections and long term care. My first love is cardiology. I have taught pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing classroom and clinicals, and maternal-child lab. I also have a great deal of experience in the simulation laboratory. I am member of Florida Nurses Association and serve on the Membership Committee, American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, and am a sustaining member of the National Student Nurses Association.
